Toxic political climate

Updated: Dec 7, 2022

Be the solution.

According to the Pew Research Center, Americans agree that the political climate is toxic

and needs to change. The toxicity is the point of the Republican culture war strategy. That is why the echo chamber is used to amplify negative messages. The goal is to motivate the base and discourage the average voter by pissing everyone off. How do you debate somebody whose primary purpose is to make everyone involved in the debate look like an idiot? You don't debate; you do good and lead by example.

The GCA process is designed to defeat the Republican echo chamber by doing good

locally and setting the stage for conversations in that space. Conversations about real solutions on the national stage with culture war profiteers are like playing chess with a pigeon. No one wins, and everyone is covered in shite. Instead, committees engage neighbors with invitations to events, setting the stage to work together on finding solutions.

Democratic Committees will become the antidote to political toxicity by using the GCA Process to do good in their communities. Neighbors would rather talk to someone they know who is enthusiastic about helping the community than be preached at by a lunatic

they don't know, screaming about the latest conspiracy theory. Democratic committees negate the power of the Republican echo chamber by deploying volunteers to fix local problems with a positive message that goes viral in the community. This process makes it possible for committees to get groups of people from the community together to have real conversations with Democratic candidates about political solutions.
