This is a big tent coalition made up of people who are passionate about a variety of subjects. The challenge for Democratic Committees is providing a unified platform and volunteer opportunities that interest everyone. Forums build unity to solve this problem and provide an opportunity to highlight different issues of the coalition. They engaged new people while educating members about different issues. Forms generate content that can easily be shared by committees to expand the reach of the coalition.

While forums are great for establishing a base, they are too time-consuming and resource-intensive for a single Democratic committee to handle. To overcome the inertia of running a forum, Democratic committees should pool resources and work together with the goal of creating six forums a year. The six forums have themes centered on specific progressive issues or groups with the goal of educating the general public. Committees wanting to help with this would pick a subject, assemble an event team to head up the effort, and get a venue. The talent recruitment, promotion, and coordination is be handled by the larger network.
