The GCA promotional cycle deploys content across multiple media platforms. Starting
with neighbor-to-neighbor outreach by committee members. Leading up to the event, a social media viral campaign using shareable memes is launched. Members are encouraged to engage with the post and share it on their own social media feeds. In the final weeks before the event, automated telemarketing systems are deployed in the reminder process, which includes celebrity political phone calls and text messages from the chair of the committee. All the promotional activity links back to the committee's main website, where an RSVP form collects data on attendees. This information is fed into the email system. The committee sends an email broadcast at the beginning and end of each promotional cycle. The GCA promotional process is designed to capture the attention of people in the community with positive activities the Democratic Committee is doing.
