The process revolves around Democratic committees and their membership using events to reach the Democratic base locally. All these activities get the attention of the community and catch the eye of the social media algorithm. The process reimagines the role of the Democratic Committee in the election of Democrats.
Democratic Committees
Traditionally, Democratic committees have monthly meetings with annual rubber
chicken fundraisers and occasionally have political events with candidate speeches or social issues featured. This is still mostly attracting the usual suspects, but it is also rarely pulling in new faces. Committees that act in this way are completely ineffective at combating the Republican echo chamber and their culture war.
